He immediately felt this was his artistic media niche and has been constantly active in developing his skills and knowledge for the last 25 years. During this time he apprenticed, did production glass, learned to build glass furnaces and participated in scientific glassblowing. This two-year involvement enabled him to accomplish his unique firepolished bottom with no pontil mark. Sherry received her degree from the University of Tulsa College of Fine Arts with a degree in nursing. Active involvement in artistic pursuits began when she met Ron and they married in 1990. The first art glass creations of this creative team were introduced in 1993 and have been winning major art show awards and recognition since. |
